"{Providing} you with practical {Tools}, skills, {Coaching} and encouragement to help you create the {Future} you want and deserve!" -- John Coffey, certified job and career transition coach

Career coaching is an on-going collaborative partnership built on taking action. In this powerful alliance, clients find themselves:

- Doing more than they would on their own
- Taking themselves more seriously
- Creating momentum and consistency
- Taking more effective and focused actions
- Becoming more balanced and fulfilled

People hire a career coach when they are making a career transition because of:

- Job loss
- Entering the job market for the first time
- Considering starting a new business
- Feeling dissatisfied with their current career and are re-evaluating their choices
- Simply looking for personal and professional breakthroughs

Coaching is a professional service providing clients with feedback, insights, and guidance from an outside vantage point.

Welcome to the magic of coaching! It's an honor to be your coach and we look forward to working with you! The relationship between a coach and you is Co-Creative, meaning that we are equals and both have an active role. John is a trained coach using very practical and down-to-earth skills to support you in your adventure.

Together we can create more power for you to make meaningful changes and take positive actions towards your goals.

- Please take time before each session to complete and email the "Session Prep Questions" which we will provide to you. The most crucial part is for you to name what you'd like to take away from the session. This is called the "Client Agenda."

- Please arrive to every session whether by phone or in person on time

- Come to your session ready to engage in your concerns

- Make your coaching sessions a priority. come to every call or meeting with a specific agenda-- a clear understanding of what you'd like to take way from the session

- Do your own work between sessions. Use what you learn. complete what you agree to do

- Be open-minded. Try new approaches and experiment

- Be willing to change your beliefs and patterns if they do not serve you well anymore

- Give feedback about your coaching experience-- what works, as well as what does not

- John will listen closely to you, responding to what he hears and ask questions. If he hears something in your voice or language that sparks an intuitive thought, he will ask you about it. Often, it is the small moments that bring about BIG shifts.

- At the end of the session, if you do not mention what actions you are ready to take, John will make a coach request. He will ask you to stretch yourself and deepen the work done in the sessions by writing, taking some action, resolving relationships or things that feel incomplete. You are free to negotiate, accept, or decline.
